They are such a majestic bird to watch and wonder. At sunset, a Bald Eagle at the Lafayette Reservoir lands on a tree top before headed home.

Sure beats #fishing by the edge of the water. Witnessed an amazing event as a Bald #Eagle snapped up a meal in Contra Costa County.

Amazing luck and opportunity as we spied two Bald Eagles at the Rez and witnessed them taking flight. In one picture you can see the rear tail feathers stabilizing the take off! The wingspan on these magnificent birds is breathtaking!
