I grew these Paprika peppers on Kauai, brought them to Washington, and made my own Paprika. Yes, I am an idiot. 😀

Fun fact... there was an early effort in the development of the EA-18G to call it the Shocker instead of the Growler. Once leadership was briefed on other meanings of the word shocker, that effort was quickly ended.

Well, the day is finally here… now officially retired after 35 years on active duty in the US Navy. Tomorrow, the first day of class for the Enology and Viticulture program here in Walla Walla. I’ll miss the cockpit, but my new office also has a very nice view…

Still a work in progress, but the library/bar theme is coming together at the GEDLandia speakeasy. First cocktail in 10 weeks around here that wasn’t served in a coffee mug. 😀

First harvest begins. 1.5 tons of Chardonnay destined to become a component of the 2025 Blanc de Blanc sparkling white. We crush and press in the morning.

Exploring on bike. Actor Kyle MacLachlan (Muad’Dib) has a winery here… Pursued by Bear… apparently a heady Shakespearean reference that only a God-King can understand. It would be very meta if someone drinking that wine were to actually be pursued by a bear. I aspire to greatness, in that regard.😀
