I always thought her accent was 'put on', but despite that I'd got the idea in my head that her parents had a Jaguar showroom or similar & would at least sound more middle class, though they probably came from working class backgrounds. #TheArchers

I was joking. Although Philip Molloy got the part of Will because his mum & dad were both already in #TheArchers. Though to be fair he was only 8 at the time 🙂

I always thought it was an accent she'd cultivated. Some of the children at Borchester Green will have middle class RP accents. She probably associated mostly with them. Not that she seems to have had any close friends. #TheArchers

George wouldn't be happy. In the past, Ed has expressed sadness that he doesn't earn enough for Emma not to need to take paid work (she told him she likes working). He & Will both have a bit of a 'me provider, you homemaker' attitude, which George has absorbed. #TheArchers
