I have a whole new WIP taking shape in my head. I already know my MC, what drives her, her hopes and wounds. In this way it's been good to not have time to write, so I can learn about who she is. When I do finally sit down to write, I'll just be telling her story, one I already know well.

Do other writers have to take a break during the holidays? My brain is so cluttered right now there's no way I can think straight to write. January will come soon enough, and then--watch out!!!
