I want to expand on this a little. Meta, as shitty as it is, isn't all that easy to delete for a lot of people, as this great thread explains. You may have been able to ditch it, but not everyone can (same with Amazon etc etc).
i am extremely committed to the cause. i am not convinced that "deliberately fucking up my only sources of income" is the "fuck you" to Meta that yall want it to be

This is a great thread, and I want to add to this part that I think insisting astrology has to be fun & light reinforces the larger societal belief that astrology is “not real”, and that impacts all of us who do this work seriously & with care.
I see this as the root to the collective aversion to discussing the astrology of a crisis. Astrology is *supposed* to be fun, light-hearted, and occasionally insightful, but not substantial or impactful. It’s *supposed* to stay in the realm of things that can be dismissed — the imaginary.
