I didn’t know about trans people then. But I remember saying, to that man, that I “should’ve been born a girl” and crying harder than I ever had. I’d never fit in with any boys, only ever the girls and now society was trying to force me apart.

Why isn’t “trans women are women” a protected belief under the Equality Act, in the same way that so-called “gender critical” beliefs are?

“But my childhood!” the Harry Potter fan whimpers, as they give money to a fund that’s actively snatching away childhoods

and anyone saying “wait until Reform get their hands on this”… open your eyes. we already have an authoritarian government that serves only the powerful and the wealthy
