Piplup, Noibat, and Leafeon will always be on my team no matter what. The other 3 I like a lot but also just seem like super realistic options for an average trainer and could be found pretty easily where I live.

Really don't understand how you watch Mouz drop Arena, Ice Path, and Macropyre on your head every fight 2 games in a row to great effect and think it's a good idea to give it to them again in game 3.

Bro, media literacy in the anime community is nonexistent. It amazes me that people watch these shows and only see flashy fights and not the cautionary tales or background cultural commentary or political undertones (or in the case of One Piece, the political OVERtones lol).
