Downloaded Bravely Default 2 to test on the new hardware and it seems to run more or less the same.
The game is still on its base 1.0 since release! Kind of an amazing thing to see in this day and age.

The team responsible for this remaster works for Cattle Call, the same company who housed the team for The Legend of Legacy for the 3DS. This 2015 game have a pictoresque look similar to Bravely Default.
