We live one day at a time. My mom adores me, I think.
We don’t come to Bluesky often, and were told today of Queen Karma. We can only imagine your sorrow, having gone through it ourselves. There’s not much we can add to comfort you. Run free, run free, little one!

It is a kind of woodpecker. Usually on the ground eating ants and beetles. Bit early for
that! Wonderful assortment of feathers and they say it has the greatest variety of any of our native birds. It’s on the cover of M’s field guide

It was cloudy here most of the time. Had a flicker feeding on suet. M took pictures through the bathroom window. That’s why it’s filmy but she didn’t want to scare the bird.

Today the sun rose, and gave gentle sunshine in our world. With a brief walk and home made soup, we have traveled to the peaceful world of NoNews. It soothes the soul and mind. We offer you this photo from our park. #autumncolor

This is the most colorful tree in the neighborhood. It dropped leaves early with the lack of rain.

A short walk in the park this morning. We saw babies in strollers, dogs being walked, and mallards feeding in the grass. Here’s a picture from a few days ago.
