I remember walking around my parents’ neighbourhood one night about 20 years ago as a wee college kid, eyes fixed on that moon halo completely puzzled. It was one of the first curiosities of the night sky that caught my undivided attention. Thanks for the heads up. Just stepped out to see it again.

I really liked All That You Can’t Leave Behind and How To Dismantle An Atomic Bomb. They lost me after that though (at least in terms of studio albums).

Yesterday, out of the blue, my wife asked who I thought was taller between Charizard and Snorlax and then we proceeded to have a big family deep dive and discussion on how awesome Snorlax is. Point being: I really hope that is an everyday toque.

It sounds too temporary, like it can easily be undone.

I do like the idea of Wednesdays having a guitar solo. Might start working that into weekly schedule…

If you flip it upside down, it’s like a little fuzzy cyclops wearing a jacket wandering an unfamiliar world with the same curiosity as Wall-E.

Ah, but nothing makes you reflect on your life as a whole quite like leafing through the Canadian Tire deals, feeling the newsprint on your fingertips, then instinctively trying to pinch zoom in on a nice Mastercraft drill.

The perspective shift between the roof and the sides of the building has made my whole morning. I feel like I’m in a trippy dream sequence where everything is an optical illusion. Like if I walked toward that building, it would become concave and the exterior walls are actually on the inside.
