this was great. puts into words a lot of feelings i’ve had. a favorite is this bit:

“Humans hate (hate!) not knowing things. In the absence of information, humans tend to make things up to fill the vacuum”

Comes up anytime there is a time gap between announcing something and sharing the details.

Now you got me thinking… are ALL TCO analyses subjective? Is it possible to be objective about this? I guess it depends how you define “cost.” If we agree on those assumptions, we can…do our best?
