Even more impressive is if we take a wider look we can see how it appears to be trying to leave the nest already while a parent follows behind in support. Unknown what happened to the other parent - maybe out gathering food or perhaps the dangers of the city claimed another victim.

As of 3 p.m., 63,948 voters have shown up for the #Boston election. That's 14.8 percent, per city Election Dept.

It's not yet clear if today's participation rate will match, exceed or fall short of the September turnout, which was roughly 22 percent— or 93,854 total voters.

We'll see...
