Emergency care (I drive ambulances and assist paramedics) and design-y, communication-y things.

Very slow trail and coast path runner. And an enjoyer of music, TV, movies, and culture.

All in lush North Cornwall.

I was really saddened to read this.

Karyo was so so good in The Missing and Baptiste. I reckon I'll end up rewatching those as well as Nikita now.

Asking for a friend - amazing social CIC doing good things in nature.

Looking for a South West (ideal) based fractional CTO who can also get their hands a bit dirty, and help a volunteer model of developing their platform

They have a backend dev, and hiring a front end.

Any ideas/connections?

This is how I discovered that Keanu Reeves and Alex Winter are doing Waiting for Godot 😲
so something absolutely wild happened here in April: we were visited by Keanu Reeves and Alex Winter.

(short thread)
We hold the world's largest Samuel Beckett Collection, and frequently welcome researchers, actors and dramatists.

In April, this included the cast of the upcoming Jamie Lloyd Co production of Waiting for Godot – including actors Keanu Reeves and Alex Winter!

A great thread right here 👇
an interesting subtopic! which shows/movies are beloved by the profession for Getting It Right! Lawyers famously love MY COUSIN VINNIE, doctors I believe love SCRUBS, apparently Aussie barristers are surprisingly fond of RAKE's depiction of some aspects of the law.
Oh god I remember watching HOUSE with some doctors, it was a the usual mix of “you would get fired instantly and never practice medicine again no matter how good u are” and “that case actually isn’t hard to solve at all”

It doesn’t matter whether the confession is urinating in the shower, or getting out of the shower to urinate: someone will reply with an unsolicited plumbing lesson.
If I am in the shower and I feel a sudden urge to pee, I will go out the shower and pee in the toilet. I used to think this was pretty normal, but after reading fesshole I am wondering if I am ridiculously uptight.

AIRPLANE! was released 45 years ago today. Still one of the most beloved comedies ever made, and the film that turned Leslie Nielsen to comedy, the story of how it came to the screen surely can’t be serious…
