A 3rd Trump term is bound to be a disastrous failed effort for Republicans. 3/4 of respondents to an Ipsos poll said Trump shouldn't run again. 4 GOP will be paralyzed since no one else will declare. If anything, this should make it easier for Democrats because Rs won't be ready with a viable pick.

So let me get this straight: baker's don't have to bake a cake for a gay wedding they'll never attend, but doctors can be forced to expose their staff & patients to highly communicable and very serious diseases like the measles brought in by people who refused the doctor's advice to vaccinate. OK.

I would love it if Blue states could stop serving as cash cows for the Red states, but I don't see how. Employers remit withholdings directly to the feds. Unless every employer in a state agreed to defy the feds and divert their withholding to a state account, it wouldn't be effective.

All that shifting Medicaid back to the states will accomplush is to shift the tax burden back to the states while not saving us a penny on federal taxes, because federal tax cuts are going to the upper tier incomes. We average Joes & Jolenes will get the shaft.

Trump has poked the wrong bear this time. He & his administration are not prepared to take on the giant Harvard brain trust and its deep, deep pocketed alumni. I mean, some of our most brilliant minds are Harvard grads - he doesn't stand a chance.
