It really is a place to get information and make our own decisions. And no, I'm not affiliated in any way. Just been reading since Day 4.

I read @whatthefuckjusthappenedtoday.com for this very reason. Summaries of the important stuff without so much detail I can't function. This and headlines from AP and Reuters. I'm informed but not overwhelmed and despondent.

Politicians like to declare the people gave them a mandate because it sounds and looks good, like they have vast support for what they are doing, but it doesn't have a specific meaning or even any legitimate weight. Hope this helps.
