What you don’t realize about elephants is they don’t make a sound when they walk. The bottom of their feet have a thick layer of fatty tissue, like giant soft pillows. Like ghosts, they glide by, silently.

Woke, grabbed phone, glasses, took the dogs for their morning walk. Made coffee and start work. Couldn’t find glasses. Retraced my steps. Hopped on bike to trace my dog walk. Searched everywhere. Then I found them, hanging from my shirt collar. Literally under my nose the whole time. How’s your day?

I so appreciate my clients, one in particular who has kept me very busy since last spring. His timing was perfect as I had been out of work for a few months and I feared the worst.

1897 first underground train, oldest public park, oldest public school, 1st newspaper, Graham Bell demo’s the first telephone here, first marathon, and we have the oldest pub in America where Ben Franklin hung out. I’ve played it in bands and had lunch there few weeks ago with friends from Colorado
