I would have blocked you for that comment, too. I have only not blocked you now because I am serving as Krista's anger translator. Please develop at least one (1) other social media interest or hobby other than posting about US politics and at least one (1) additional frame of reference.

This is only the kind of thing very privileged, very sheltered people say about violence that others commit. They *think* they want to see suffering, casualty, and death. But they don't. Not really. If they did, they'd be out murdering people, instead of blithely cheering on others' violence.

In the late 20th century, my father was between jobs when the Sega Genesis was released. He would play Sonic while the kids were at school and then mercilessly critique our after-school play. I believe this contributed to our later life success.
I hope my little gets a snow day tomorrow so he can stay home and I can smoke him in Mario Kart

I almost cried to see a man who'd happily seize your or my private property, would trample constitutional liberties without thinking twice, and has zero fiscal responsibility, being welcome in the Oval Office. And it didn't help matters that Zohran Mamdani was there right next to him.

If that isn’t cool enough, here’s a video of Young walking through the park one day.

When he’s stopped by a fan and asked how to play “Cinnamon Girl”, he sits down, shows him the tuning, shares a laugh and continues on. 💕

A Sharon Begley byline, almost 5 years after her death.

Upon hearing the news James Watson had died, a STAT reporter said in our Slack, "I wish I could read what Sharon would have written."

Incredible news: Sharon in fact did pre-write a Watson obit. And it is masterful and excoriating.

DIGITALSEXLIFE animates numbers as living digits that move, bond, age, and reproduce, forming playful, emergent patterns of connection, intimacy, and social behavior.

I coded the first version in BASIC as an art student in 1991. This one one uses the latest web tech.

Synthesis: social security is funding antifa, and must be abolished!

(When do I get my fellowship at Heritage?)
It’s so funny when they call the No Kings protesters “antifa” when they’re like 70% enraged senior citizens (complimentary)
Sean Duffy: "The No Kings protest, Maria, really frustrating. This is part of antifa, paid protesters. It begs the question who's funding it."

You must defer to the president’s determination that there is an armed rebellion in Chicago, argues the govt’s lawyer.

That’s the Trump admin’s stance on everything. When the law doesn’t allow it, lie about the facts until it’s something that would be legal, then insist others live inside the lie.
Perry: DOJ's definition of rebellion would mean that
"literally all nonviolent protest” could be considered evidence of rebellion. Is that your argument?
Hamilton: The president has determined there is a danger of a rebellion, and you must defer to that finding

"Why doesn't [site] communicate more about anything" well maybe because every time they do, hundreds of people lose their entire fucking shit for the next five days and a new completely wrong folk belief starts getting repeated as fact and becomes the basis for even more shit-losing

I'm baffled by the eerie silence around this. It was an apartment building. Each unit is a separate home. Homes are where the 4A's protections are strongest. Has anyone pressed the administration for justification (or even pretext)?
"The spokesperson declined to say whether agents had warrants to forcibly enter homes, saying that because Tren de Aragua has been labeled a terrorist organization "there are sensitivities on what we can provide without putting people at risk."

This BS is why ELECTED OFFICIALS must demand answers

SCOOP — Pennsylvania prosecutors were alerted to possible voting irregularities by one of MAGA's leading voices against voter fraud. A long paper trail shows Jack Posobiec has been living in Maryland but voting using his parents' PA address for years.

I know it's frustrating when lawyers point out when something the administration is doing is not legal. But responding with "the law doesn't matter anymore" is really unhelpful and defeatist. Clarifying the law is important because it reminds us not to comply in advance and to resist and take action

Carr: “look… these rock stations playing the Stones instead of Eagles? We cannot have that. It’s simply not serving the public interest. Licensed stations must play the songs we like”

This is the analogy. This is what they are doing.

Gregory Bovino, leader of Trump’s LA and Chicago raids, personally testified that he saw a protestor strike a Border Patrol agent. The jury did not believe him and the protestor was acquitted.

The Trump admin is losing these cases left and right. Their credibility with jurors is virtually nil.

I want every single person who’s ever argued passionately that we need a law criminalizing hate speech to sit with this interview, and think about what this administration could accomplish with it.
Attorney General Pam Bondi: "There's free speech and then there's hate speech, and there is no place, especially now, especially after what happened to Charlie, in our society...We will absolutely target you, go after you, if you are targeting anyone with hate speech."
