And for the times he does remember Yin Yu's actual second gender, Hua Cheng would love correcting all those who think Yin Yu's a beta and act all smug about knowing such information. He could also just find all the beta assumptions hilarious and join in just for the hell of it.

Honestly, might be a blessing in disguise since it probably helps him stay under the radar during missions and such. Hua Cheng definitely knows that Yin Yu is an alpha but I'll like to think he sometimes forgets and defaults him to a beta.

I know that if tgcf was set in a omegaverse world, Yin Yu would be the beta of all betas. But I love the idea of him being an alpha that doesn't give off any alpha energy so everyone assumes he's just a plain boring beta.
