29. she/her. Leftist. Lesbian. I live in Appalachia and you should too. Here to rant about fictional characters and immigration law. Skeets are not legal advice. Currently at capacity for pro bono, but I’ll put in my bio when that changes!
Im just always a little squinty at protest actions which involve patroning a corporation, particularly if the main people who are burdened by the immediate action are working class hourly employees

Also, wont this just show as sales? Like unless they deduct returns from overall sales (which may be possible!) then wouldnt this on paper just show up as "wow a ton of people are shopping at this one location"

Get you a big cast iron skillet, get you some turkey legs or thighs if you like dark meat, a breast if you like white meat, season it more than you think you would need, and keep it moist.

Also it's because most people only cook turkey at Thanksgiving when a whole bird is traditional, and turkeys are fucking massive so of course cooking a whole bird is kind of miserable to do for most average people

If you think it's gross it's because you're cooking it wrong. I promise it's how you're cooking it.

Hm, I wonder, is it possible the person has any Appalachian roots? I dont hear it that often but here in SW Virginia I have definitely heard people drop off words like that - for example, "I think I get out today to rake leaves" etc

To my trans and nonbinary friends, I am so sorry that you have to deal with this hate. And I hope to see us reach the other side of it soon. And, we will reach the other side. This is horrifying, but it is ultimately the latest iteration of a time-worn tale. And their time always comes to an end.
