Ever have one of those songs that you write the middle for, but then can't figure out how to start or end?

This is one of mine, and has been dogging me for over a year now. It started as just experimenting with the Genny VST, but got close enough to something I like that I can't let it go

Despite my best efforts, I couldn't replicate that weird lead synth used in the OG. Still really fun to pick out; Sonic 3 has some truly awesome music to try to pull apart.

I went through some old transcription projects looking for inspiration. I don't think I ever posted these here. First, Kakariko Village

found this old incomplete project hiding in my folders... I may need to finish it. FFXI's music is a pleasure to try to pick apart. Naoshi Mizuta's chords are always so resonant and beautiful. I particularly love Mog House's really complex but heartfelt chords... Gosh, there's so much beauty in XI
