The croft is still giving although things are a bit tired. The netted tunnel is really an asset. Plus the odd blewit and the eggs.

The Minch just before landing back home. I love the lights at this season. Some fear the winter in the North. Personally, it is appeasing my soul with a permanent dynamic light show. The nights also have their perks with stars, planets and auroras.
Ok it could be a bit breezy...

Had great fun at #H-NAT discussing this nascent "renewable" resource we know so little about, #naturalhydrogen. People from all over the spectrum of research and industry are working on our strange home planet. So many great discussions with old and new friends.

Had quite some fun making eye-balls jelly.

Learning to thresh the barley... I am not there yet. Have hacked this old Austrian lab thresher. And trying to process the ears to make seeds. Still a lot of chaff in with the seeds.

Feeling so lucky to come back home and be able to see the stunning beauty of our place

Testing on a real case my H2 probes. In the background , a stark reminder that whole industries collapse suddenly. Maybe some O&G people should observe the past and move on.

Luckily a bit of humour but I guess this summarises a lot of the world'problems...

The creativity of the electric cow boy that wired part of the house is unbelievable... So much bad practice to save a couple of quids while putting in danger their customers and staff. Pathetic

We have broccoli 🥦! First time successful, this is in our new netted tunnel. We are definitely behind but they are coming together beautifully.

My beautiful #ScotsGrey chooks. They wait at home that I have built enough defences against the bloody berserk golden eagle. The bastard killed most of the adults we had.

Our second year of fruits "harvest" on the croft

A friend of mine made this AI img for me as I am currently battling an eagle that is killing all of our flock. It has no fear of humans and attacks even when I am here. We watched each other while I harvested my barley and the scene of this saga image depicts well my day yesterday.
