This week I learned the band Trio intentionally put “skips” in one of their songs. The songwriter thought the song was ‘too beautiful’ and needed to be ‘destroyed’ a bit. It took me going through digital copies and buying and LP to figure it out.

My aunt passed away last night. So with that, my government department was shuttered and losing two cats I hope the rule of three/law of country music is satisfied.
Also, now when I get a text that starts, "I'm sorry to hear about your bad news..."

In a turn of events that can only be described as a gut punch to the soul we said goodbye to Basher and Patches today. We adopted them knowing of their existing conditions so we’re happy for the time we had together. Still, a day of tears and saying it was ok for them to leave if they were ready.
