Now in UK cinemas, Sisu: Road to Revenge. A gloriously violent sequel, with its hero wanting to rebuild his family home as Nazis hunt him down. Wildly Over the top, paying homage to 80's action flicks, making it a real blast.

Now on @AppleTV , The Family Plan 2, starring Mark Wahlberg. This woefully bland, unnecessary sequel, finds Wahlberg and co in London & Paris at Christmas, making it more of a festive advert for those cities than anything else.

Now on @netflix, Frankenstein, with Oscar Isaac & Jacob Elordi. Guillermo del Toro's adaptation of this classic is what you'd expect visually, gothically grandiose. The script however, suffers from pacing issues during its 2.5 hours.

Now out in UK cinemas, Anemone, starring Daniel Day-Lewis, Sean Bean & Samantha Morton. Day-Lewis comes out of yet another retirement, this time for an emotional heavy drama, directed by his son Ronan, that is utterly draining.

Now on Blu-ray & DVD, The Ritual, starring Al Pacino and Dan Stevens. Although the almost competely handheld cam is irritating, the story, based on a true story of an exorcism of a young woman in 1928, is utterly absorbing.
