I stopped feeling that way when I noticed that usually by the time I start focusing on perfect enchants Ive already got a lvl way above 30 and almost used up the durability of some diamond gear. Its not a waste and it makes the road to perfect enchants less of a pain

Basically same here, but usually Im satisfied with diamond tools with efficiency 3 or 4, it makes building a fancy base just that much easier

At least, that's what I love to explore with Hiemal when I think of him as a seperate character and not myself. His human memories were fading, but despite the angst, he eventually chose to remove that wall seperating humanity and instinct, erasing the person, but not becoming the mindless beast.

Is this a post-TF thing? The way I might see it, the character's new traits might be their own, deepest, primal parts that could only be expressed when the new animalistic body came into play. He might not have known it himself. The former person is gone, but the "self" is still actively there.
