A lovely, warm, cozy sapphic fantasy about kindness, community, and learning to be your true self.

Given how much I enjoyed Leong's The Teller of Small Fortunes, I had high hopes for The Keeper of Magical Things, and I was not disappointed! 5 stars.

Happy St. Patrick’s Day! In honor of the day, I am rereading Jewels of the Sun, a Nora Roberts romance set in Ireland with slightly fantastical elements.

What Irish-themed or Irish-set romances, fantasies, or mysteries would you recommend?

Stopped into my local #library yesterday to renew my #librarycard. While I was there, I checked out Nora Roberts’ latest book, The Mirror. I’ve been on the hold list at the regional library since October, but the local (unrelated) library had it on the shelf! #librarybook #NoraRoberts

I first posted this review in 2019. I recently listened to the audiobook again, and while I tweaked a word or two, I wouldn’t change a single sentence of that original review. The Calculating Stars is brilliantly written and narrated by @maryrobinettekowal.com .
