We need to consistently remain temporarily sheltered and have our needs met. I can’t stress how no one opts into being a social pariah.
Also, I start a certification program in January. I can’t survive the season and school if we lose shelter every 72 hours and our needs are unmet.

I am very worried that support will continue to evaporate during the holiday season.
It’s bad enough to not have family, a home, and no real support system, or even money to navigate the holidays. It would be even worse to continue to lose access to temporary shelter during this time.

So we have been unhoused for 219 days. 🫠 Which is 60% of the year and I’m distraught.
I’ve been doing everything possible this entire time. The US makes sure that you can’t escape homelessness. This is systemic which affects someone already systemically oppressed.
