This. The only reason the owners are pushing for March is because they think the NBA playoffs wouldn't lose viewership to the starts of the WNBA season. They fear NBA viewership to open the season would be hurt by the W's playoffs.

The WNBA proposing an extension of the season is a win. Negotiating to have said extension occur solely/primarily at the end of the season is a logical next step.

Bahaha that's just ridiculous. OKC really looks like the next dynasty. They can basically draft wings (or sign an undrafted one) and there's basically guaranteed success he'll turn into a great 2-way rotation player. That offers insane roster flexibility when it gets costly.
