“Trish Carter-Goodheart, a Democratic candidate and citizen of the Nez Perce Tribe, spoke plainly: Racism and discrimination remain real and persistent …

When the conversation hit a nerve, [the GOP senator] abruptly stormed out, shouting: ‘Why don’t you go back to where you came from?’”
Tribal IDs Are Federally Recognized. ICE Agents Are Ignoring Them.
Opinion. During last year’s Idaho election, a Republican state senator lost his composure when a candidate forum turned to the topic of racism.

What’s wrong with these people 🤦‍♀️

Reading is good!
Reading is fundamental!
Reading anything and learning to enjoy your mind imagining the story leads to reading more and all sorts of writing!

Can you imagine not being allowed to read a comic book till you were 18 🤦‍♀️

On paper, a California city bans the sale of comic books to kids. Officials want to change that
In the mid-20th century, comic books groups grew in popularity. But some people worried that they were contributing to illiteracy and inciting crime among young people.

I just found out that my family’s insurance premiums are increasing by over $500.00 a month. That’s for two of us. And I’m 71 years old and still working. I kind of thought I could retire at least for a while before I die but that dream ain’t looking so good now. Blah. 😑
If only ensuring healthcare to millions was as simple as sending $2K in the mail.

You’ll keep hearing about HSAs from the likes of Rick Scott and Trump like its magic.

It isnt. And its not remotely close to a serious plan to get people what they need: real health insurance

No friends with kids? Make a friend—preferably one who comes with kids to expedite the operation—and start reading!
