The Nightingale & The Women are both excellent and The Four Winds & The Great Alone are also very good. She’s a great storyteller with strong female characters.

I’m reading The Night Road by Kristin Hannah, I’ve loved everything else I’ve read by her but finding this one a bit Young Adult, which is fine but not what I was expecting.

I haven’t read any other Percival Everett but loved James, which ones have you read?
Revisiting A Thousand Splendid Suns was so worth it. Especially poignant given the dire situation the good people of Afghanistan find themselves in today 😢

Years highlights so far are, James by Percival Everett, The Things We Cannot Say by Kelly Rimmer, The War in Women by Sue Lloyd-Roberts. Currently reading How to be Right in a World Gone Wrong by James O’Brien, a handy manual for dealing with bigots 😅. Also reread A Thousand Splendid Suns 📚 🌈 🤓
