Long thread, but one which highlights what clinically vulnerable families went through during the Covid pandemic.

Many are still facing life-threatening risks and having to make life-changing alterations to their behaviour due to the prevalence of Covid and the shrinking eligibility to vaccines.

I’m hearing loads of comments from fans & pundits brushing off Spurs’ injuries as if that’s the only issue & claiming Bournemouth is a fair comparison.

Bournemouth have played 5 games in January - 1 midweek game.

By the time the end of the month rolls round, Spurs will have played eight! #COYS

Day 24.

The penultimate gift from my #ChristmasBlocking tonight is another WB classic and also a long-running advertisement for ACME industries.

Almost done, but there’s still a few more block characters to come. The latest from my #ChristmasBlocking is smarter than the average bear!

Day 22.

Being pulled out of my #ChristmasBlocking today are the characters that were apparently originally intended to be the stars of a video game that changed during development and later became what is now known as the first Donkey Kong.

The final character is both tall and wide and is wearing blue headwear with a black top and yellow bottoms with a blue belt.

Following on from yesterday, there’s another classic from the golden days of WB and Hannah-Barbera cartoons in my #ChristmasBlocking today.

Day 19.

This gift from my #ChristmasBlocking is another recent one for people with young kids.

There are a number of characters here but the main pair are two small individuals. The first is wearing pink and has blonde hair with a gold headpiece and the second is wearing blue and has blue headwear. They are joined by a smaller character who is red & black and a host of other people who are taller.

Today’s #ChristmasBlocking gift is an animated TV cartoon which made its way to cinema, accompanied by a soundtrack from the super cool Jack Johnson.

Day 17.

The characters in the gift pulled from my #ChristmasBlocking today come from a pair of films that were made into a trilogy in 2020.

They also starred in a cartoon spin-off featuring one of my favourite animated moments as a kid - the Inca rain dance!

Day 16.

My #ChristmasBlocking doesn’t have a cartoon-based picture this time, but instead iconic costumes from the cover of what is still the biggest-selling studio album in the UK (colours open to slight interpretation).

Finally caught up again!

Today’s gift being pulled from my #ChristmasBlocking is another cartoon from the USA. It dates from the late '90s - mid '00s.

Another gift from my #ChristmasBlocking.

Justin Fletcher (Mr Tumble) voiced two characters in the 390 episodes of this show, in one of his first jobs on CBeebies.

Today’s gift from my #ChristmasBlocking is a long-running kids show that came back a while ago.

This should be an easy one for most people, regardless of their age.

It also proves that concerns about the human impact on climate change aren't anything new.

Moving forward a fair bit now to something a lot more recent.

Day 7 (trying to catch up).

The latest gift from my #ChristmasBlocking is the first to feature an inanimate objects as part of the block picture.

Ringo Starr was the narrator of this show when I was a kid and the two will forever be linked in my head.

Day 6 (a tad late). Another group picture pulled from my #ChristmasBlocking. I believe they've been in various cartoons, TV series & at least a couple of films over the years.

One of the family even has their own TV series on a streaming platform these days.

Day 5. Still hovering around the 80's - I remember enjoying watching this show on Saturday mornings.

For anyone not sure what this is, I’ve created a series of minimalistic ‘block’ pictures of well-known characters. I’ll pull a new one each day out of my #ChristmasBlocking for people to guess.
