100 mushroom produce 71% of all spores.
I just learned the other day that literal oil and gas fields benefited from prop 13, which is absolutely mental as an outcome of a ballot measure. I can't imagine of the voters thinking about that consequence!

It's all about the utilons. Just think of the wonder aroused in children through learning that there is a fish that climbs trees and deflating it all through "Like squirrels!"

A sadistic Ergopraxis is smiling and thinking: "Malthusianism is off the menu, but this is the next best thing!"

There's a difference between automatic thoughts and feelings and thoughts that are used for problem solving and sensitive to learning through consequences. (Classical vs operant conditioning, respectively.)

For the former you practice acceptance, for the latter committed action for valued living.

In my opinion it's helpful to be concrete to get people onboard. People are stubborn about their abstract moral views.

Like getting 3 million people on HRT at 200$ per year is 600M$, which is the size of Minoxidil's (hair loss medicine) entire market in America. www.skyquestt.com/report/us-mi...

One of the better essayists on Bluesky, Kate Wagner had this to offer on the topic. Her first ever essays on classical music ended up being taught in class room. I think there is space to make contributions that don't quite hit the Platonic standard of truth.

Katie, in the interest of accountability, how did you DARE to repost art without ALT text? We need some social conditioning to keep it a stable system, positive reinforcement for those who use ALT text.

Why not some Nordic chic from 1968? Originally from the same company that would later create Nokia 3310. One of my high school crushes had a pair so obviously I'm biased.

One version of Microsoft Flight Simulator depicted the Buckingham Palace as a housing estate because apparently most buildings were procedurally generated based on maps.

I was like "they really should have followed the LoL model of making a real TV show," then checked Wikipedia if they had had such a brilliant idea and look at this petty ass shit! Now wonder they turned the franchise into the Brexit of gaming.

I think she has money and reputation stuck with seeing Trumpism as an outside attack on GOP.

It was pretty personal—the socialist guy was distant and aloof so he got made into Snufkin who tears himself apartn from Moomin periodically. This fish pictured has a name that's a lesbian underwear joke.

Imo this is a bit of a myth. Nature is doing just fine spreading garlic mustard, kudzu, and mustard in monstrous quantities. Land needs good stewardships which is neither ultramanicured space age lawns nor laissez faire.

Imo the issue is that conspiratorial logics have overtaken the politics in general. QAnon won, only the villain changes.

Yarvin doesn't really seem to understand his opponents, which is more than fine, but it's something special that opponents getting laid is so significant to him. I wonder how he would take this novella...

Finally a Jacobin author to come against Identitarian Politics! We should forget about the distraction known as ICE. Democrats should ditch the Groups to concentrate in M4A instead to usher a red-brown age.
