Don't like asking, but I’m raising funds for Tech Tinker Club, a free, volunteer-run STEM programme for Y4–6. We need 3D printers & micro:bit Arcade kits to fuel their imaginations.
If you can donate or share, I’d be truly thankful.
Smallest help matters!

Four years ago, I filmed this tiny organism while exploring microscopy as a hobby. I spent weeks trying to identify it, even reaching out to experts, but no one could help.
Last day of December, someone reached out: it’s beed id'd as a new species. :)

Stay curious!

My home brewed line sensor for the Microbit robot chassis I designed and build in the last month works as expected.
I need to find a way to program it better using @MSMakeCode but I'm happy with the result for now. :)

Small update on the Microbit and Kitronik board robot: it works despite me messing up the battery indicator (needs redoing) and one addressable led being wired on the pcb the other way around (also needs redoing). Next: solder together the line detection accessory.

I'm half way through but can't recommend this book enough. It's really nicely written and trully for people that are starting from zero.
I like it so much I'm thinking of starting running through it during the stem club I'm running at the local primary school.

Working on a micro:bit robot to use with the children at the stem club I'm running. 🙂
Will be made of pcbs, will wok with the Kitronik boards we already own and will have an optional line folllowing module that can be added in the front.
All parts on order, fingers crossed will work. :)

Nice soldering session at Tech Tinker Club last evening, bit slow but we are improving.

From shaky first attempts to proud smiles as their LEDs lit up, it was a reminder of why we do this: to spark curiosity, build confidence, and inspire future inventors.

Can't wait for next week's one. :)

Soldering kits packed and ready for next week's stem club session. :)
This will be fun!

Long shot but I'm running a primary school level STEM club (Y4-6) and I'm in need of #Tinkercad lesson plans based on UK KS2 curriculum.
Can be anything as we are already playing with #Microbit, #Makecode and a bit of electronics.
Can anyone help?
