- SUMMARY- if you are new to lifting , always practice good form and learn all the techniques > adding more weight . It will serve you better in the long run. Good form looks like, full range of motion, controlled tempo , and ideally feeling it in the right place

- if you start squatting for the first time and you always lift up your heels- you will recruit more quadriceps to perform that task- now years later you’re trying to grow a big booty and you’ve heard deep squats hit it- but YOU only feel your quads , and give up

- it’s like watching a professional vs a newbie perform a skill. The professional has repeated that movement pattern 10,000 times and their body fires all the neurons seamlessly. WHY IS THIS IMPORTANT FOR LIFTING ?

- proper form is hugely dictated by an athletes ability to recruit neuromuscular junctions in the right order. Think of it like playing a song- you gotta hit all the right notes in order and sequence- STAY WITH ME HERE

-when you are a beginner, yes you need to get stronger but you also need to get your form right! Proper form is very important for novice athletes

Working out before Top Surgery is not necessary, but can greatly improve recovery and if you are wanting to build a big ‘ol chest , it’s a great motivator to start your weightlifting journey -
