I understand the CDU is not happy with Kuban’s initiative; Brnabic’s German counterpart Julia Klöckner is not going to meet her. Still, Brnabic is coming to Berlin with a huge delegation, including regime media representatives.

From what I learned, the committee originally, upon initiative by some Green MPs, invited CRTA’s programme director Rasa Nedeljkov. As a reaction, CDU MP Tilman Kuban, the parliamentary group’s speaker on European affairs, then had Brnabic invited.
