Hah! I adored Hickman's work on HOUSE OF X/POWERS OF X and his weaving of decades of mutant history into an unexpectedly nuanced modern/futuristic Xmen tale.

Hah! I adored Hickman's work on HOUSE OF X/POWERS OF X and his weaving of decades of mutant history into an unexpectedly nuanced modern/futuristic Xmen tale.

Sounds like THE CHILDREN OF BLOOD AND BONE began filming. This should bring a treasure trove of new visuals for fantasy fans. I was recently considering how the upcoming Potter and Narnia adaptions risk being overly familiar; having the opportunity to be transported somewhere new is exciting!

The adaptions I am enjoying are showing worlds apart from the familiar one.
WHEEL OF TIME riffed a bit in the telling, but they are gung-ho with their take. Hopefully they get to tell the whole story, because the toe-to-toe gets so earnest! So much to be seen still.
