I'm an 02 customer and watched your excellent piece on the 02 mid contract price hike which tempted to opt out of contract. However I understand that I have to settle the phone element of the contract as a lump sum and this will put me off leaving 02 at this time

Interesting detail I observed on a visit to Marbella earlier this year. The countdown signals indicated how long pedestrians had to wait until the green man signal appeared for them. Unfortunately, this was longer than 30 seconds as guess what, vehicles had priority.

As a state pensioner myself I 💯 agree with this proposal. Over 70s self regulate at the moment and that never works.
The WFP should always have been means tested. I was more annoyed that the government didn't stick with their policy. Older people need to share the load.

The problem is that those professionals aren't asked in the current system, so everyone carries on until they crash....

I believe the point here is that UK over 70s have to reapply for the licence every 3 years. And they, I believe, have to state that they are fit to drive. Self regulation/ supervision never works. I recall 90 year old drivers saying if my doctor/optician says I'm fit to drive.

Personally, I think this is a massive own goal for the Telegraph. Who is more likely to read the paper - the 6 figure salary people they're having a go at. It's becoming the Daily Spite. Competing with the Hate Mail.
