I guess I'm knowledgable enough to sniff out the bogus info along with my student and I often ask for links to the source. Plus, I think having reasonable doubt when consuming anything online is an important skill to develop, and will be even more critical in our kid's lifetimes.

There's a lot about AI that sucks. But, as a parent it's been great as a supplemental tutor to refresh my knowledge around trig, geometry, and calc concepts, when assisting high school level students. Something a Google search or referring to the text was much less efficient at.
