My completely uninformed opinion is Frank is keeping the seat warm for Pochettino next summer. Not a chance Frank can survive more than a season if we keep playing like this.

I would def start him against Leeds, he’s got tools to work with and those runs in the box are important for us.

I think what makes it more maddening for me is there’s a chance he’s not even a regular starter by the end of the season. So then we just have a prime aged player as a backup that we struggle to shift in another couple years because of his contract.

It feels like Spurs trying to protect his value, but completely agree. I'm sick of watching him play, pretty amazing what a midfielder willing to make some forward runs was able to do in just 10 minutes yesterday.

At least Tottenham plays at 3 as something else to focus on
