It can be a fine line, whether playtesting or critiquing a game. The mantra I'm trying to stick to is let the game be what it wants to be, not what I'd prefer it to be.

There was a spot for that on the information sheets at each table but I do think the designers could have formalized that as a process to set expectations.

Netflix Canada only has the first season, where US already has season 2 with 3 coming soon.

I don't know what's more arcane, the naming/numbering system for the various seasons and spinoffs, or the fact that they're all split over 20 different streaming platforms. Honestly shocked Nintendo hasn't got a dedicated paid streaming platform.

I keep saying that I'm tired of rogue lites wasting my time but then will gladly grind a JRPG for 50 hours 🤷‍♂️

It's certainly not bad writing, just not *for me*. The dynamism of character comments is impressive but means there's very little sense of growth or development, every bit of dialogue can be delivered in any order in a way that completely washes over me.
