If Kimmel's numbers stay high, then Sinclair and NextStar are doing a disservice to shareholders by not airing it and selling advertising at prime rates. 6.26m beats DWTS. 8.13m would approach Sunday Night Football

On the other hand, all those democrats will still be there regardless of if he wins or loses, and with no endorsement, it sends a message to the base that they’re never gonna make the changes that they want to see to win back the working class.

On one hand, this is an excellent strategy of making Mamdani the outsider - he’s gonna come in shake up the party that is functionally dead to a lot of its base. And being someone who is seen as not accepted by the party despite overwhelming popularity, makes him seem more like an agent of change.

Everyone is assuming Trump will be making an announcement tomorrow… all I know is that The President will be making an announcement… whoever is President tomorrow at 2pm ET.

Is there any actual mechanism to do this in any meaningful way? Most tax dollars from states come as direct individual payments through payroll deductions.

The supreme court case linked in the article goes into depth... it wasn't a good decision though... they changed the requirements the same year he was born, but after his birth. I don't know if that would have changed anything, but really, any base under US occupation should be considered US soil.

Requirements for citizenship were that one or both parents were citizens at the time of birth, and they met the physical presence requirement, which at the time was 10 years. His dad hadn't been in the US as a citizen for 10 years, he didn't qualify, unlike McCain who's parents were both citizens.

Wow... the Supreme Court's decision on his citizenship was fucked up... his dad was a citizen, but because he had not yet met the 10 year physical present requirement, his son didn't get citizenship - and then congress literally changed the statute to require less time THE SAME YEAR HE WAS BORN!

This is a misconstruing of that research... There is some correlation between the average IQ being a few points lower than others when consuming 2x the recommended LIMIT of Fluoride. This really only happens in places where fluoride naturally occurs in the drinking water, not when added.

My wife and I saw Emo open for Al in Reno a few years ago... she had no idea who he was, and honestly I don't think she would have ever chosen to see Emo Philips on her own.. but she laughed SOOOO hard.

This is so wild, but makes a ton of sense. I work for a school district in the communications department - all those threats to schools in December, we could find them on Instagram, but not on Tik Tok.

My mother in law used to work the payroll mainframe for the CA state comptroller office, everything was written in cobol or a similar archaic language. The state had tried to replace the system several times but nothing could keep up with the complexity of multiple bargaining agreements
