The true point most people miss in studying history is that yes, it happened before & there were “both sides”. The purpose of learning about it isn’t to justify it. The true purpose is to learn from the mistakes so that they are not repeated. #Education #Resist

Growing up, if I didn’t know what a word meant, my grandpa would immediately point at the huge unabridged dictionary & say, “Look it up!” If I didn’t know how to spell it, he would say, “Figure it out by trying.” I also remember feeling so rich because I had access to one. 🧵 1/

People are confused over what the word “emergency” really means. If something NEEDS my immediate attention, I take care of it. Not much in our lives can’t handle waiting an hour or two or three. We survived before all of these tech devices . It is YOU who puts the pressure on it #LetThem
