My stepmother’s father was David Dodge, who wrote ‘It Takes a Thief to Catch a Thief’, the book the movie was based on. The studio refused to pay him royalties. Hollywood planned a remake in the 90’s. My stepmother, Kendal, legally demanded royalties. The remake was never made.

Today we danced!! Longmont celebrated the Day of the Dead today. That way we didn’t have to dance on Nov. 2, which is usually freezing cold.

My beloved mother turned 89 today. Her memory has been failing, but otherwise she’s very healthy. I brought her roses, chocolates, and a birthday card that I painted for her. Keep on trucking mama!
