Yes. 100%. I have to deal with those types of comments all the time. "Mining for the car, still needs electric, etc." But those knowledgeable understand that the useable life of an ev uses less power and less damage than an ICE car.

To be totally honest, when my gal and I saw the presentation 5 years ago we put a deposit down and said, ok, quirky, 40G, let's try it. FF to 2.5 years ago, gimme back my 100 bucks you f-head. And now it's like...

My Y looks sooooo dated now. It's sad. It's interesting to see how the designers left and leon took over. Went from a sporty vehicle to something that would get a freshman cad designer tossed out of school for coming up with. From 3 to cyberbrick. Meanwhile fox news runs our government.

It's funny because bezos has backed this and people hate him as well. Rightly so. It's like we have to choose battles. I definitely think shoving leon out an airlock while he travels to mars would be boss, but we still need to bail on fossil fuels. Just glad autos are moving to ev.

Wow that is an awesome truck. I just spent 10 minutes messing with the configurator. The nacs thing isn't that odd or shady, all companies in the USA sorta settlednon nacs a few years ago so we didn't have a ton of adapters. And yes that helps tesla but standards are needed for mass adoption.

I've looked. So many nice EV's but it'd be upside down to move over. Need another 1.5 years in this. HOWEVER, As an act of faith I put 100 on the new Scout EV coming in '27. Leon is just, he's just so bad.

I'm not selling either. Bought mine 3.5 years ago. Runs great. HOWEVER, My next EV will not be a tesla. NACS is open to all and the multitude of choices is 10 fold what it was when I bought. I predict tesla is gone with 5 years.
