Jeff Passan is reporting that the Orioles are signing Ryan Helsley to a two-year deal with an opt-out after the first season.

He’ll be their closer after there were rumors of Helsley converting to a starter, per Passan.

Went to the Riverside Art Museum and The Cheech earlier today for the first time.

The new “60 Miles East” exhibition drew me there and obviously ruled but there’s so much more to see, too.

The “Black and Brown in the I.E. and Beyond” exhibition is fascinating and especially timely in 2025 America.

From Gonzalez’s article.

The Angels could defer some of that $38 million and potentially free up more money to spend this offseason.

The Quakes’ new color scheme, uniforms and logos all look pretty damn good.

This offseason has already been pretty wacky. Add in some fascinating Pirates and Marlins rumors and it could be even more intriguing.

Still can’t believe that *this* is how the Ducks finished off last night’s win against Vegas.

That game was entertaining as hell.

The Ducks beat the Knights in overtime. What a game.

Big game at Honda Center tonight with the Ducks (1st in Pacific Division, fifth in NHL) facing off against the Knights (2nd in Pacific, sixth in NHL).

It’s fun to have meaningful hockey (or sports in general) being played in Anaheim again.

Maton's curveball has always been a great pitch but it was downright elite in '25.

He threw it 385 times, allowed just 15 hits (1 HR) and struck out 53 batters with a 41.6 percent whiff rate.

The Angels hired Brady Anderson as hitting coach AND John Mabry as assistant hitting coach.

Cutter Gauthier and Leo Carlsson are in pretty good company with their 20-game starts this season (via the Anaheim Ducks on X).

From Dom Luszczyszyn’s latest article at The Athletic.

Yeah, Leo Carlsson is a superstar.

The Braves announced that they signed Raisel Iglesias to a one-year, $16 million deal. The veteran closer stays in Atlanta.

After the Grayson Rodriguez trade, the Angels rotation projects to be right around middle of the pack, per the FanGraphs depth charts.

It's obviously early and there's plenty of variance with guys like Detmers/Rodriguez, but the group is in a much better spot.

Wow. The Angels announced that they've acquired right-handed pitcher Grayson Rodriguez from the Orioles in exchange for Taylor Ward.

That's a pretty enormous trade for both clubs.

Angels catcher Logan O’Hoppe is at Driveline this offseason. Interesting.

I know this is shocking information but Mike Trout is at the Eagles-Lions Sunday Night Football Game.

ESPN’s Jeff Passan is reporting that the Mariners are finalizing a five-year deal to bring Josh Naylor back to Seattle.

Maybe Kyle Tucker is the big-time free agent the Blue Jays are finally able to land?

Not sure I had Toronto in the mix for him but this is an interesting development.

Kinda nice to be watching afternoon baseball today.

The Anaheim Ducks are giving these Ducks clogs away on the Nov. 22 game against Vegas and I’ve gotta say these are pretty sweet.
November 14, 2025 at 4:46 PM
With Mikael Granlund and Ryan Strome back in the lineup, the Ducks are rolling out four legitimately strong lines tonight.
November 14, 2025 at 12:08 AM
The Rangers (4 goals) and Lightning (3 goals) scored a game's worth of goals in the first period.

Only 18 total shots on goal, too.

The Angels' two primary catchers from 2021-22 are now coaches on the 2026 staff.
