Perhaps most of the fans are transfemme and that's why. Though I don't think of her as transmasc either, to me, that makes much more sense within the canon in particular. As for omegaverse, that's not my cup of tea generally speaking, but yeah, that genre/AU exists in the Polytrix fandom too.

I can def see how that 'love all of me?' scene is queer-coded (especially trans-coded), though I wouldn't depict her that way myself regardless. But, I admit, I'm also surprised that transfemme Rumi seems to be a lot more common than transmasc Rumi in fanart (or maybe even fics).

My artist self needed to hear this. Sometimes, the process can bring out the low self-esteem, thinking about the final product, but at the end of the day, it's about having fun. Thank you for this.
