Here, like in many activities in the heritage field, interdisciplinary perspectives and knowledge sharing are key to successful missions and crucially, how CPP can be a vital tool for peace keeping

The course provides a unique opportunity for military personnel and civilian cultural heritage professionals to learn about cultural property protection as a concept, their obligations under international law, and how this awareness can be integral to mission success.

The 3rd UNTSI Training Course in Cultural Property Protection took place in the Curragh Camp, Co. Kildare in January 2025.

The week-long course focused on Cultural Property Protection (CPP) of both tangible and intangible heritage in UN Peacekeeping military contexts.
