I’m petrified about today’s science news. Genetically modifying crabs to have cheetah genes? This could go sideways fast.

You know how much I love Marriage Toxin by Joumyaku and Mizuki Yoda? I am sick enough for my boss to keep trying to send me home, but the book club I run is talking about the series tonight so I can’t leave.

This is going to be the longest day. Gero, give me strength.

Oh, wow. Friends, I need you to stay cool. Don’t freak out, but I just won Blue Sky. This is like peek tier librarian status.

So, tonight kind of sucks, my friend invited me to a big holiday part and the elevator gave me vertigo, I haven't been in a skyscraper for a while.

Plus everyone's drinking and I don't know anyone.

The feeling I get when I read stories like this is the same feeling I got in my guts when I realized how deeply skewed (outright lies more than not) the history I was taught is, but way worse.

This needs to be stopped immediately, it's literally training brains to be epistemologically solipsistic 🚨
Well this is grim

The chronic need to be civil is very much a feature of white supremacy culture and a tool of control.

on “Wonderful Christmastime,” Sir Paul McCartney set out to make a timeless christmas classic and also to figure out what every button on his synthesizer did, and he absolutely succeeded at one of those things

Couldn’t fall asleep last night bc my brain wouldn’t stop going through a list of obscure bands I listened to as a teen. Now I’m listening to Sky and feeling a little hysterical. Send help.

I’ve been home recovering from surgery since Nov 1 and the only way I know today is Dec 1 is from all the birthday emails from restaurants offering me free stuff.

Made a sketchcard of Gambit for the studio Etsy store. I’ll let y’all know when he goes up. Feels nice to draw for fun after months of mostly juggling a baby ❤️

Red Sonja: Consumed is out!
You need this book. It’s clearly great. But remember, Gail is the worst… also a bear.
Our blood feud rages on!
(It… uh… must have been another Tom Taylor that wrote a blurb for this book)

I really need someone to open up a tasting room/distillery/bar where there’s lots of open space so I don’t feel awkward hanging out, has fun options for my sober friends, is family-friendly, and has easy access to cake. Is that too much to ask?

Need more fun people to follow. Where are all the #stucky fanart people? Where are the cool #fantasyart people? Who is funny? Who can help me find new music? Comic creators I don’t already know and love? Help wanted.

Ugh, of course there’s no iPad app. Sigh, one day I will become active on one of these things.

I had a dream where I met Taylor Swift at a beach house and pitched her on doing a series of illustrated art books based on her albums, and she turned to her assistant and said “find out if doing that would help the US labor market” and then walked out of the room and honestly she was so right.
