I sat and watched the news, like really sat and watched it for the first time in like months, maybe years yesterday and it reminded me of two things:

There are days where I’m proud of myself & how I continue to go on spreading light & love despite all the darkness around me; then there are days like today where I want to go green & Hulk out and smash ignorant, hateful asshats upside the head. So no. Today was not a good mental health day for me.

So I confess I read those dime a dozen book apps. It’s a guilty pleasure. lol. But this book I’m reading the main heroine caught her boyfriend fucking her cousin & this is what happened when she confronted them both. I was fucking dying because she didn’t run off & called them out on their BS.

I feel like this is the only place I can talk about my dad. He passed away in July of 2022. It was just he and I in the moment when he took his final breath. And yeah. I haven’t been right since then. I don’t think I ever will be honestly. I’m on a waiting list for therapy… (1/2)

So as a HUGE fan of musical theatre since high school, naturally I’ve seen the Wicked musical twice. And of course I went and saw the movie with my sister @marilynnphoenix.bsky.social and I have to say it was PHENOMENAL. Go and see it!! 💚🩷💚🩷
