It was a pleasure to welcome Prof. Megan McLeod (Uni. Glasgow) to our departmental seminar series yesterday (sponsored by BGI Genomics).
Megan's seminar explored how cells remember previous infections - not just in the adaptive immune system, but even in non-immune cells after influenza infection.

On Monday, BLS lecturers Dr Sana Hannan and Dr Aikaterini Gatsiou attended the AMS Springboard Award reception at The King’s Fund in London, where they had the chance to interact with the other 60 awardees, alumni and AMS fellows.
