I forget how long I've been reading it now, but it's been through a lot of these last few years and was always something to look forward to. So much of this series will stick with me.

can only really be played through right before the end of the game,,,,, kind of an L on my part. On the other hand tho this is gonna be a godly game to replay.

I really realllllly liked the story, and the ending made me crazy emotional. Joshua and Clive are so well written off of each other

ironically i feel like the Hawaii location and the great American actors they had for the dub were super underused

for wayyyyy more. One of those games that is unfortunate that it doesnt have DLC Story, but understandable given the dev cycle.

Looking at these screencaps again, Hakazono's hatching/cross hatching is real clutch and thorough when he decides to go all in on it.

But I think the panelling of this manga is one of its weaker reading experiences

Reading thru this reaffirmed I love shonen, even the "slop," and I love manga (I gotta read way more). I love really being able to see what another artist hasn't been able to get out of their head for half their life haha.

Also I love how negative space is used when double spreads are regular

I'll never be able to forget most ppl trying to dunk on this for being like, an average/mediocre first arc of a manga on a trial run in jump.

Especially because I really found myself liking some of the story beats introduced in the Sazanami arc onwards.
